Global Operations & Technology (GOT) provides scalable and resilient solutions across BNY Mellon’s Businesses, Technology and Operations by driving scale, agility and client-centric teams. GOT leverages technology platforms and applications that support BNY Mellon’s role as the leading provider of solutions to the financial markets, while ensuring seamless delivery through best-in-class operational delivery.
GOT Management & Strategy is the engine that delivers competitive advantage by optimizing how we run GOT. GOT S&G defines the GOT strategy, plans the portfolio, re-engineers business processes, oversees regulatory functions, navigates technology change, governs leadership planning and engagement, develops key data and tools, strategically partners with key vendors, and leads special projects focused on creating client focus in GOT.
The Role
As a Strategy and Management Analyst (Global Operations and Technology) , you will to the GOT LGE Chief of Staff and will provide key support in driving completion of critical top of house initiatives and execution of global events.
You will join our Global Operations & Technology (GOT) Leadership, Governance, and Engagement (LGE) Team architects key messages and leads the strategy for communications to elevate and drive awareness of GOT’s critical role to key stakeholders, clients, and the market, while transforming culture by driving employee connectivity and experience. GOT LGE is comprised of a Top of House team and embedded GOT Engagement Leads who are aligned to each business.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist the LGE Chief of Staff in supporting the GOT Strategy, Management & Execution Chief Operating Officer (COO), the COO of Operations and Technology, and ultimately BNYM’s Chief Operations and Technology Officer
Drive consistency in messaging and foster clear and concise communication flow to ensure strategic alignment across LGE
Support execution of annual onsite meetings for the wider GOT LGE team and cross-functional strategic initiatives, partnering with leaders to drive through to completion.
Identifies strategic and process improvement opportunities for increasing LGE impact, collaboration, and efficiency across GOT and supports special strategic projects where necessary
Provides business management and organizational health support for the GOT Strategy, Management & Execution function
Aids in establishing team Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and executes quarterly reviews to ensure team is tracking towards completion
Executes GOT LGE scorecard process and ensures that the final output is suitable for the consumption of the final audience, the GOT Executive Council (ExCo)
Executes Best in Class (BIC) and other award nomination processes in partnership with extended GOT COO network
Assists team members in executing global events as needed, including: Global all-hands town halls for 30,000+ employees, quarterly GOT Senior Leadership Forums (SLF), Diversity in Leadership (DIL) panels, Women in Technology (WIT) town halls, and Diverse Tech events to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) across GOT.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of experience preferred.
8+ of total work experience preferred. Strong in writing and editing. Executive presentation and ing experience. Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.

Liaises between Technology and multiple business units to support their complex technology needs. Leads and provides direction and guidance for a wide array of activities supporting the Technology contracting processes and procedures. Leads, develops and manages multiple client relationships within the business unit to ensure client satisfaction and the development of efficient business systems. Represents user area to Technology departments in complex system enhancements and design activities to ensure changes take into account business needs. Negotiates, extends, terminates, and renegotiates contraTechnology for acquisition of equipment, materials, produTechnology, or services. Evaluates and monitors processes and tools for different types of contraTechnology, risk assessment, dispute and issue resolution through continual review of existing policies and procedures.Contributes to the achievement of area objectives. Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree is beneficial, 8-10 years of related experience required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
