Job Description

This role is well suited for an ambitious and proven professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Logistics Planning Supervisor at Bosch, Albion, you will be responsible to:

• Lead, direct and monitor Customer Service, Production Planning and Material Planning teams as a supplier to Automotive Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers
• Coordinate with Safety, Quality, Production, Sales, Purchasing and Engineering as required
• Identify, develop and lead Cost-Savings and Planning Process Improvements
• Define, develop and coordinate Inventory strategies / analysis to Optimize Inventory Levels
• Assist Logistics team with New Program and Project Management
• Oversee Logistics Quality plant requirements
• Maintain Logistics related PO’s including debits and premium freight
• Responsible for maintenance, completion and reporting of KPI’s for Albion plant & division
• Performs other duties as required

• Strong working knowledge of SAP including all Supply Planning related processes and functionality
• Practical and proven Supply Chain management processes and systems
• Proficient in teamwork, organization, planning, time management, reporting and documentation skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills to interface with plant personnel, plant supervision, corporate associates, global logistics management
• Tier 1 Automotive experience
• Thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to work cross-functionally and independently
• Demonstrated flexibility and dependability
• Established problem solving and continuous improvement skills
• Proven ability to automate existing Logisitcs Planning processes and reports
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Tableau, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (8+ years demonstrated experience) in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years of experience: Leading, directing, and monitoring the Customer Service, Production Planning and Material Planning team as a supplier to Automotive Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers
• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive responsibility in materials management

Preferred Requirements:

• APICS Certification
• Bosch Production System / LEAN trained
• Six Sigma Green Belt certified
• Shainin Problem Solving trained
