VCA Veterinary Emergency and Referral Center of Westbury, is growing and we require a progressive leader to help guide our veterinary technicians and technician assistants. With the assistance of the Hospital Director, and leadership team, the Veterinary Technician Manager will manage and mentor staff, oversee hospital processes and business operations all while ensuring exceptional patient care.
We offer our supervisors monthly training on leadership, human resource topics, empathy, burnout and compassion fatigue. We also work as a collaborative unit providing you the connectivity of 10 additional specialty hospital supervisor teams to grow, learn, and share information with. Working together to create effective, fulfilled teams, happy healthy hospitals, and overall career satisfaction.

Our 24/7 facility is located just 28 miles, or a short train ride from New York City and beaches all around! We offer specialties including Emergency & Critical Care, Surgery, Internal Medicine, and Oncology. We are Trauma Level 1 Certified, indicating our resources and ability to provide sophisticated emergent and critical patient care. We offer multiple advanced diagnostic and treatment modalities such as MRI, CT, and Fluoroscopy.
