Vice President, Business Operations Manager
Commercial Banking delivers extensive industry knowledge, local expertise, and seamless global capabilities to clients-including corporations, municipalities, financial institutions, real estate investors and owners, and not-for-profit organizations. We offer a comprehensive set of financial products and services including credit, asset-based lending, real estate finance and treasury. We also provide clients with access to investment banking and asset management services.
We’re looking for a procedure writer and communicator to provide support for Commercial Real Estate’s (CRE’s) loan origination teams and support groups (e.g., Sales, Processing, Rate Lock) by developing and publishing procedures and communications in adherence to internal styles and standards and following tightly controlled processes. The individual in this role must be well-organized, attentive to detail, competent, and flexible in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Create and update procedures and supporting documents by collaborating with process owners, product owners, project leads, and control teams to ensure quality and accuracy of content.
- Create internal business communications to keep employees informed and engaged.
- Manage the attestation review process to ensure that procedures and supporting documents accurately reflect current established processes.
- Contribute to deep-dive analysis to determine the best formation of documents for the end-user.
- Complete workflow planning, prioritization, and maintain critical document properties/ metadata using SharePoint Designer.
- Maintain quality control of various internal content (e.g., shared drive, procedure libraries, intranet sites) in conjunction with other teams.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the voice and style of our documents.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in a role with an emphasis on procedure and/or communication writing; Excellent writing and editing skills are a must.
- Strong understanding of structured writing techniques, style elements/guides, and templates.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Ability to quickly grasp the mechanics of a job function and synthesize the new knowledge into existing parameters.
- Ability to run effective meetings and communicate with all levels of employees.
- Expertise in Word.
- Ability to collaborate and contribute on both a strategic and tactical level.
- Strong time management, problem solving, and prioritization skills.
- Experience designing and working with SharePoint as a workflow tool.
