The Boston Tavern Group is looking to add one experienced restaurant manager to join our management team. This position will be performed in multiple locations . The three restaurants are in Norwood, West Bridgewater and Medway.
Come join a company that values quality of life for our management team. Enjoy a flexible schedule with 2 days off per week including one weekend day off every week. We never require anyone to work a sixth day and if a sixth day is ever available you get paid for it.
Our restaurants closes at 10:30PM Sunday through Wednesday and 11:00PM Thursday through Saturday.
Job Description
We are looking for a Restaurant Manager. Ideal candidate will primarily be responsible for the BOH service of our very busy restaurant. . Ultimately, you’ll help our company grow and thrive.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations
- Design strategy and set goals for growth
- Enforce policies and processes
- Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
- Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
- Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
- Direct the employee assessment process
- Prepare regular reports for upper management
- Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
- Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
- Maintain bar/beverage operations.
- Maintain liquor cost and liquor orders.
Skills
- Proven experience as a FOH Manager or similar role
- Experience in planning and budgeting
- Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)
- Strong analytical ability
- Excellent communication skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Problem-solving aptitude
