Job Description
Position Purpose
The Human Resources Generalist provides direction and support to HR Business Partner team to successfully execute talent and people initiatives.
Major/Key Accountabilities
Partner with HR Business Partner team to execute people strategies that support CHEP strategic priorities
Transform the CHEP employee experience through hands-on support and collaboration
Own deep dive analytics and insights on HR “hot spots”; couple with external benchmarking
Own reporting for key HR activities (i.e. annual objective setting, training, career conversations, annual salary review, etc.)
Support communication, career pathing and training for Recent Graduates
Lead coordination and administration of talent programs
Support submission process for external awards
Administer policies and procedures in collaboration with HR Centers of Excellence (ie: Talent Acquisition, Rewards, HR Operations, etc.)
Ensure smooth delivery of on-boarding, training and compliance initiatives
Manage a variety of HR and talent projects
Support Diversity and Inclusion initiatives across the organization
Measures
Key people metrics for CHEP USA – engagement scores, retention, talent movement, succession planning and diversity
Relationships with HR Business Partners
Successful project management
Authority/ Decision Making
Prioritization of HR projects
Reporting and analytics
Coordination of external awards

Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related field
1+ years HR experience in a “world class” organization
Desirable Qualifications:
PHR certification
Workday experience
Experience

Knowledge of HR policies and procedures
