JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resources-Office Manager is a dual-role involving full spectrum human resources and office management responsibilities of Brew City Brand.
This role is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level in the following HR functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment / employment and employment law compliance.
The office manager component of this position is responsible for overall front office activities, managing IT, large purchasing requests and facilities and management of the building.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, corporate culture-focused, and bring enthusiasm to the office by offering up new ideas and programs. Effectively communicates with other managers and departments in a clear, friendly and concise fashion in order to meet expectations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Human Resource Management
Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in the development and implementation of employee handbook and personnel policies and procedures, in conjunction with senior management.
Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
Office Management
Responsible for management of the building, which includes but not limited to managing repairs, tenant issues, etc.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS needed for this position:
Experience: Five to seven years’ combined human resource and office management experience. Solid understanding of federal and state employment regulations
Education/Experience Skills: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university or equivalent work experience.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects. Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Prioritize, organize and delegate assignments.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills both verbal and writing: Effectively communicate with other managers and departments in a clear, friendly and concise fashion
Computer literacy skills in Windows and in MS Office.
