About us
Bright Wood Corporation: family owned and operating in Central Oregon as a Wood Manufacturer since 1957, we are looking for an application developer to help support our IT department located at our headquarter office in Madras Oregon
Primary Responsibilities
Create new and maintain existing software for our internal customers
Create internal documentation to assist with future development and troubleshooting
Write SQL Statements for use in software and reports
Gather and refine requirements for programs and/or reports from internal customers
Troubleshoot issues with internal software programs, working with end users to confirm that problems are resolved
Thorough testing of internal software prior to end user testing
Working towards integrating multiple systems for increased efficiency, data reliability and improved reporting
Qualifications
C# application development
Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server
Creation and testing of in-house integrated production software
Mobile development with .NET Compact Framework
Experience with SSRS reports
Experience with manufacturing, scheduling, or inventory management software is desired
Ability to work directly with end users to gather requirements and create software
Education
2 year College Degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred-will consider combination of education and work history.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
