Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer (No Remote)

Locations: Warrenton, GA

Job Details::-

• Perform engineering duties in developing quality controls, documentation, and procedures, maintaining project schedules, communicating with customers and suppliers, and approving equipment in-house and at suppliers for new model launches and during periodic supplier visits.
• This position will be responsible to follow Honda Supplier standards and Supplier Project Guidelines (New Model) and supporting continual improvement activities.
• Ability to use and train others how to use all quality gauges & measurement equipment
• Ability to generate and modify CMM programs. Develop custom gages including CMM fixtures, line side fixture gages, and variable gauges
• Develop quality documentation and plans for new model/model changes. Develop quality procedures to assure specification compliance
• Coordinate exception order activity with PC and perform inspection and packing of New Model exception orders
• Use 8-D, 5-P, and why-why analysis tools to countermeasure and resolve quality issues.
• Conduct audits of countermeasure implementation and effectiveness reviews with applicable departments or suppliers.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated s.
• Coordinate relations between customer QA staff and internal departments by responding to concerns, coordinating QA visits, and preparing documentation specifically for customer visits.
• Support supplier development including conducting Quality Assurance Visits (QAVs) to review and approve new lines/equipment and documentation for new models/model changes, and to assure all customer requirements are met for model changes and new model activity.
• The development also includes working with suppliers on corrective action and countermeasure implementation.
• Responsible for proposing and making continuous improvements within areas of responsibility.
• Prepare and make presentations to various customer staff including quality improvement plans, new model activity summary, schedules, etc.
• Support QA Techs and associates with quality compliance judgments, mass pro & and new model teams
• Inspection of WIP and finished goods to drive lineside quality improvements. Perform PV testing and generate s in a format suitable to the final customer
• Navigate within the Honda North American ing System portal. Support ISO9000 activities to maintain ISO9000 compliance. Other duties as assigned.
• Achieve company and department business plans for Health and Safety Goals
• The ideal candidate should have knowledge of castings and CNC machining processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• Warrenton, GA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Quality Assurance Engineering: 4 years (Preferred)
• Automotive Industry: 2 years (Preferred)
