Policy Lead

Policy Lead role with a growing start up company with a reputable and growing brand in the DAC space. As a Policy Lead covering North America & EMEA, this role will play a crucial role in guiding the business across the regulatory landscape / policy framework to support commecialisation & adoption of carbon removal technologies.

Reponsabilities for the Policy Lead Role

• Understanding regulatory policies & frameworks and there impact on regulatory policies and frameworks in targeted markets to understand the adoption & deployment of carbon.
• Negotiating with third parties, developing and implementing strategic priorities & advocacy intiatives across North America & EMEA.
• Engaged with strong strategic thinknig skills with the ability to anlayse policy trends, political dynamics, develop actionable strategies to advance the businesses policy objectives.
• Working closely with the senior team you will contribute to the development of strategic plans and initiatves. Including identifying policy priorities, assessing risk & opportunities

Expereince Required for the Policy Lead Role:

• Understnading of climate policy and regulatory frameworks in North America & EMEA regions, with expereince in developing and advocating for policy solutions in these markets.
• Extensive experience engaging with policymakers, government agencies and regulatory bodies in North America & EMEA.
• Proven track record of indluencing policy outcomes & building productive relationships with key stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation skills.
