Summary:

The Manager, Global Patient Operations – Learning and Development is accountable to manage the team’s day to day activities supporting the onboarding program for new hires and external training program for treatment sites and collection centers used for BMS Clinical and Commercial Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T cell therapies.

This role reports to the Associate Director of Global Patient Operations Learning and Development and is located in Seattle, WA. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Responsibilities:

• Actively engage in the identification, sharing, and adaptation of best training practices cross-functionally
• Partner with Patient Operations leadership to create and provide effective, efficient and relevant learning content used to educate cross functional global partners
• Support Global ACT Program, ACT template development and Qualifies ACT instructors Ensure consistency across regions, final approver of ACT content
• Responsible for the on-time completion of the team’s deviations and change control impact assessments.
• Ensures new hires are onboarded and trained effectively
• Responsible for developing SOPs & documents, as assigned (Owner/Editor/Reviewer/Approver in document management system)
• Supports setting KPIs for the Learning and Developing Training team and provides input for process improvements
• Collaborate with other managers to ensure smooth global Trainings and coherent processes
• Identify gaps, troubleshoot problem areas in existing systems and create solution pathways
• Lead and own multiple projects (complex, strategic, cross-functional), as assigned
• Ensure software releases are supported to meet project timelines
• Develop team and people (performance, development, coaching, delegation)
• Communicates and champions changes to directly impacted internal and external stakeholders.
• Builds and fosters trust within the team and can guide team through issues and escalate when appropriate

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Education or related field
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience, 2+ year of managing team
• Ability to analyze data and apply findings to solve problems and continuously improve.
• Preference to candidates with experience operating in regulated environments (either medical or pharma/biotech)
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Previous work in process improvement & standardization is a plus
• Ability to inspires and motivates teams to deliver innovative and exciting solutions with an appropriate sense of urgency

The starting compensation for this job is a range from $87,000-$110,000, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility). The starting pay takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed. Final, individual compensation is decided based on demonstrated experience.
