Position Summary
ing to the Director of Product Development Operations, this individual will be responsible for the planning and execution of a broad range of project management activities to support Product Development organization. Accountabilities include ensuring governance, initiatives, activities, and processes drive toward the accomplishment of the Product Development strategic plan in support of the enterprise goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support of tracking milestones, metrics, and KPIs across a portfolio of strategic initiatives impacting global Product Development
- Applies digital and analytical tools to streamline and improve ing of program and initiative status and progress
- Tracks resource (people and dollars) demand and supply across the strategic initiative portfolio. Identifies and seeks to resolve conflicts, bottlenecks, and budgetary risks
- Accountable for facilitating regular initiative portfolio reviews and prioritization exercises to ensure the strategic portfolio is fresh and focused on the most important deliverables
- Serve as project manager and /or participate, as needed, in any initiatives that are identified in PD/PDO annual objectives and/or strategic initiatives
- Provide departmental business operations support (track objectives, facilitate staff meetings, create/maintain SharePoint sites amongst other activities)
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant scientific discipline with
3 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or related industry. * Project management experience with the ability to develop clear action plans and drive execution to meet timelines and deliver on commitments. PMP certification a plus
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence, negotiate, and drive organizational engagement
- Capable of bringing structure to vaguely defined problems while using creative yet pragmatic problem-solving approaches and execution management
- Highly effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and messaging skills
- Strong ability to ensure connectivity across multiple functions across sites and with the enterprise
