POSITION SUMMARY:
The Intacct Accountant is responsible for implementations and ongoing support of Sage Intacct. The Intacct Accountant will also be responsible for client service of a variety of outsourced accounting roles and interim client accounting roles.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Train others on the Sage Intacct system and provide technical assistance to clients and your team.
- Develop reports and dashboards using the Intact system and assist with data conversions.
- Work with developers and other team members to define client enhancement needs.
- Setup and configure third party integration tools
- Compiles and analyzes financial information for clients in order to prepare financial reports
- Creates, reviews, and maintains budgets and client financial reports, investigating accounting discrepancies and communicate best accounting practices to clients
- Documents financial transactions by entering account information into various client accounting software packages
- Takes lead role in maintaining primary contact with key clients
- Ensures appropriate internal controls are in place and adhered to at all clients
- Handles routine client matters and technical accounting questions
- Supervises multiple engagements and other engagements with staff.
- Develop and maintain contacts with business referral sources
- Demonstrates commitment to the Firm’s Core Values by modeling appropriate behaviors and acting with respect and integrity in interactions inside and outside of the Firm
- Responds to and handles client needs, complaints, and requests in a timely manner
- Works productively with minimal oversight
- Provides supervision, real time feedback, and mentoring to accountants
- Meets or exceeds annual chargeable hours goal
- Participates in Firm committees and activities
- Promotes the Firm positively in the community and through professional organizations involvement
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience
- Advanced computer literacy, including proficient use of all Sage Intacct, and Microsoft Office products
- Valid Driver’s license and/or access to transportation to various client locations, up to 1 hour from the home office location
- Accounting experience with excellent understanding of financial software
- Sage Intacct Consultant Certification a plus, but not required
- Experience with other ERP packages is a plus, but not required
- CPA/CMA certification is preferred or progress toward obtaining CPA/CMA certification
- Ability to make judgments, when appropriate, using facts through accounting principles knowledge
- Skills with investigating and analyzing source materials
- Ability to organize and plan workflow that will require minimum supervision

- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent client relationship and business development skills
- Proven ability to work individually and collaboratively within a team setting
