Brookville Equipment Corporation Hiring for Cost Accountant Job at Brookville, PA Full Time

Job Functions:

• Create and review the processes needed for data accumulation and reporting.
• Reconcile the data accumulation system.
• Calculate estimate versus actual cost variances on a by job/project basis.
• Generate timely manufacturing job/project cost reports.
• Report significant issues to the Controller.
• Assist in analyzing manufacturing work orders.
• Monitor changes in manufacturing methods to determine the effect on cost and profit.
• Assist the Controller to ensure timely and accurate financial statements.
• Assist in Accounts Receivable collection and reconciliation.
• Maintain financial documents.
• Provide cost analysis.
• Verify invoices for payment.
• Assist in review of inventory accuracy and annual physical inventory when necessary.
• Other functions as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• On the job/project costing experience preferred.
• Written communication and organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Excellent ability to analyze data.
• Experience manipulating large databases.

Pay: $40,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
