SUMMARY
The Human Resources Generalist provides HR functional support with recruiting, policy, program and practice implementation as well as compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs a wide variety of administrative duties to include general correspondence, employment verifications, processing mail, processing invoices.
- Conducts new hire orientation and completes the on-boarding process.
- Assists employees with benefits, payroll, recruiting, and general questions.
- Conducts exit interviews and provides information trends to manager.
- Participates in developing department goals and objectives.
- Maintaining personnel files.
- Recommends new approaches and policies and procedures for continual process improvement.
- Maintains current knowledge and understanding of regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments, and applicable laws regarding HR.
- Assists in internal audits, pulling reports and preparing files.
- Track and maintain records for annual performance reviews and other performance related documentation.
- Organizes and/or assists with the coordination of events and functions.
- Other duties as assigned.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
