WHO YOU ARE:
The HRBP will play a key role in employee recruitment, growth, and development and work closely with key leaders and Director People & Culture to help develop and implement people strategies to enhance business performance and meet strategic business objectives. The HRPB is an individual who is detail-oriented, passionate about the HR function, possesses strong organizational skills, and can work both independently and in a team environment. The HRPB is seeking professional growth as the needs of the business evolve.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• Develop effective partnerships with leaders and employees to develop thoughtful people strategies focusing on talent acquisition, talent management, training, engagement, and recognition.
• Act as the designated point of contact for the assigned employee population. Manage employee disciplinary actions to ensure consistent, uniform, and fair application of company policies, procedures, and government laws.
• In partnership with the Director of People & Culture, recommend solutions to issues, consult employees, advise managers on the discipline process, and facilitate dispute resolution.
• Liaise and engage with assigned populations to drive consistency in Human Resource data, processes, and analytics to improve HR strategy and culture.
• Conducts new hire check-in’s and exit interviews.
• Coach and guide employees and key leaders on employment matters, facilitate meetings, and add input based on knowledge of employees and the business.
• Review data analytics in partnership with the Director of People & Culture to provide regular updates on HR metrics.
• Implements new programs and initiatives that continue to develop employees and contribute positively to the culture and employee engagement.
• Conducts visits to various locations to develop business relationships with employees at all levels and gain feedback to align with HR roadmap and people planning.
• Proactive in sharing insights to increase organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Takes a hands-on and analytical approach to support the business by finding creative and strategic ways to improve processes, procedures, etc.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition Manager on open positions and requisition management.
• Proactively identify and correct errors related to talent data in various platforms.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal and consulting skills in dealing with employees at all levels of the organization, continuously influencing and relationship-building across functions.
• Adhoc reporting as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree Required in a related field, Master’s Degree encouraged
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in an HR function with skills in high-volume employee relations, talent management, recruiting, and performance management. Retail luxury experience preferred.
• Must be proficient in Excel, and ideally, previous experience in Workday and ADP Workforce Now.
• Proficient knowledge of US employment laws, multi-unit, multi-state environments, high volume, and high visibility environments.
• Must be detail-oriented and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrates high professionalism in communication, attitude, and teamwork with peers and management.
• Sound judgment and critical thinking skills, successful management of multiple projects and competing priorities while balancing the needs for quality with meeting deadlines.
• Effective follow-through and strong communication skills across all teams and partners. Works well independently and in a group setting and demonstrates high integrity and accuracy.
• Passionate, driven, and motivated by product.
• Ability to work in a growing and entrepreneurial team environment.
• Travel as needed, based on business needs within the US.

As required by New York City salary transparency law, effective November 2022, the expected base salary for this position ranges from $90,000-$105,000. Various factors are considered when extending offers, such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
