Field Marketing Representative

Be a part of Bug Tussel’s growing Fiber Optic Team! Bug Tussel will be experiencing tremendous growth in fiber optic services over the course of the next five years. This includes all phases from design, construction, sales, and operations of its own fiber optic network. Bug Tussel’s mission has always been to provide high quality internet services to rural Wisconsin and other places previously ignored by providers. JOB SUMMARY:

The Field Marketing Representative will be responsible for driving pre-sales for future fiber builds throughout rural Wisconsin. The ability to canvass areas and meet with potential subscribers will be key to success in the role. Educating the local populations on the benefits of fiber optic service is also critical. The advance work done in this role will not only benefit future sales but also aid in a more effective and efficient design and construction process.

Responsibilities:

• Pre-sell high-speed fiber internet, television, and phone services.
• Canvass assigned territories that are served, underserved, and unserved for high-speed internet services.
• Develop key market research in territories Bug Tussel will be operating in.
• Effectively communicate the benefits of fiber optic service to local residents and community influencers.
• Work closely with senior leadership, engineering, and construction teams communicating research and trends.
• Provide regular updates to senior management as necessary.
• Other tasks as assigned

Required Skills:

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to drive production using door-to-door selling techniques without an appointment.
• Attention to accuracy, detail, and completeness.
• Must be driven and self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or further (higher) education.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record required.

Pay: $14.00 – $17.00 per hour
