Job Title: Administrative Assistant (for Expense Reports)

SUMMARY:
Provides support to expense report team by reviewing and approving business expense reports for employees according to company travel policy. Facilitates communication between employees, HR Team Lead and managers to resolve any discrepancies or errors with submitted employee expenses.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other job-related duties may be assigned in conformance with state and federal regulations.
· Provides support to expense report team by reviewing and approving business expense reports according to company travel policy.
· Provides administrative/clerical support for Human Resources department.
· Communicates with employees who have submitted expenses outside the prescribed rules and refers them to the travel policy guidelines and allowances.
· Partners with HR Team Lead and manages to resolve an issue with submitted expenses and discrepancies or errors.
· Working knowledge of employment law. Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying new and existing legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on necessary action.
· Protects operations by keeping company information confidential.
· Delivers outstanding customer service through timely response and proactive solutions to clients’ needs.
· Ability to use and skillfully operate a computer is essential to this position.

o Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Acrobat Adobe.
o Ability to work successfully in a remote environment with access to internet and phone.

o Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
o Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize items.
o Strong time management skills and ability to adhere to deadlines while maintaining accuracy
