Cal-Mil’s Operations Manager will oversee the Operations Team encompassing the following departments: Welding and Plastics Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality Control, Warehouse, Planning, Purchasing and Distribution. The Operations Manager will lead, support, and supervise by creating a culture of continuous improvement throughout all Operations Departments. This position will ensure the effective and efficient use of facilities and staff.
Cal-Mil’s Operations Manager is responsible for performance management of direct and indirect reports. This person participates in day-to-day operations, with responsibilities that include: distribution of finished goods to customers, manufacturing products made out of plastics as well as welded metals at minimum cost that are consistent with quality specifications, accurate inventory forecasts, and labor standards.
This person also helps the Supply Chain by validating the make or buy determination, monitoring, and making decisions regarding suppliers based on their performance. The ideal candidate can speak both English and Spanish fluently.
