Job Summary
The Senior Director of University Housing Facilities Operations is a member of the University Housing leadership team. In conjunction with the AVP, Executive Director, Sr. Directors and other managers, staff, and students, this position assists in carrying out the mission and philosophy of University Housing and is responsible for supporting and contributing to a positive atmosphere that facilitates respect, inclusion, and collaboration.
Under the general direction of the Executive Director of University Housing, the Senior Director of University Housing Facilities Operations has direct responsibility for Planning and Logistics, Custodial Operations, and Depot management within University Housing. This position leads and manages staff and provides leadership and development in support services, and emergency response.
The Senior Director of University Housing Facilities Operations serves as an active member of the University Housing Senior Leadership Team and Housing Leadership Team and maintains overall management responsibility for the leadership and administration of a comprehensive University Housing facility performance program, both daily and long-term physical plant maintenance, emergency management preparations, departmental capital outlay planning and execution. Working closely with Facilities Management and Development, this position manages, coordinates, and administers the construction, renovation, and maintenance projects for University Housing.

Key Qualifications
Education and Experience
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in architecture, engineering, business/public administration, or similar concentration, and five years of progressively responsible experience in the area of project or facilities management, and extensive collaboration experience relative to multiple construction trades.
Licenses, Certificates, Credentials: Possession of a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain by date of hire.
Salary and Benefits The anticipated hiring range for this role is $110,000 – $130,000 per year. Note that the offer is calculated based on the background and relevant years of experience of the individual selected.
