EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Cancer Support Community (CSC), the largest nonprofit provider of social and emotional support for people affected by cancer, is seeking a Back-end Web Developer. Grounded in the mission to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community, the aim of the Digital Department is to develop an optimized online user experience for patients, their loved ones, and supporters across all programs and services no matter how and where they connect to Cancer Support Community’s digital environment.
The Back-end Web Developer will report to the Lead Developer and will be primarily responsible for designing, developing, and integrating solutions to solve business and technical requirements across applications and assist in troubleshooting challenges that arise. The ideal candidate must be passionate about technology, writing code and solving problems. As an integral part of our small digital team, our Back-end Web Developer should be self-motivated and enjoy learning and sharing knowledge.
