Capital Express has an immediate opportunity for self-motivated, Transportation and Logistics Manager to oversee multi-faceted office in Wichita, Kansas.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily services provided to diverse group of customers, employees and service providers.
- Ability to take ownership and be accountable for issue resolution and general customer satisfaction.
- Analyze P&L and budgetary reports.
- Demonstrated proficiency with technology-based routing, dispatching and scanning systems.
- Directly supervise and motivate staff and drivers. To include interviewing, hiring and terminations.
- Highly organized, detail oriented and capable of multi-tasking in a very busy and demanding environment
Requirement:
- Must pass a background and drug test.
- College degree or equivalent work experience of at least 3 years in the transportation industry
- Proficient with all Microsoft Office products, primarily Excel.
