Automotive Dealership Business Office Manager Experience Needed
Job Description
- Looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the financial and accounting activities of multiple dealerships
- Manage the accounting team and clerical staff
- Items of importance include Inventory, Deposits, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, License/Title, and Payroll
- The ideal candidate would be an individual with prior automotive accounting and management skills with a commitment to career development
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounting staff to ensure timely and accurate financial information is available to dealership management for business decision-making
- Clearly define employee expectations through documented processes, structured training, and regularly scheduled team meetings
- Provide ongoing training and support to accounting team members
- Team building across the accounting functions to maximize efficiencies, improve cross-training, and solve interdepartmental process issues
Requirements
- Must have excellent leadership and communication skills with a passion for leading change and developing their teams
- 5+ years of accounting, management, and financial preparation experience
- Dealership accounting experience and strong attention to detail are essential for this position
- The ability to travel to the various dealerships, requiring a valid driver’s license and some overnight travel
Up to $120,000 to $170,000 Annually Based on Experience Level
