Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia is a professional medical organization committed to the healing mission of Medicine. CCP specializes in providing comprehensive Cardiology care and currently has over 30 locations throughout the Philadelphia area. We are currently hiring for a full-time Medical Biller / Precertification Specialist for our Paoli, PA location.

Please note this position is entitled to a $500 sign on bonus.

Responsibilities:

• Code and enter all patient visits, tests, etc.
• Ensure the accuracy of all patient information in the billing system.
• Ensure the timeliness of all charges.
• Verify, adjust, and correct bills to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and third-party billing requirements, rules, and regulations.

Obtain prior authorizations/pre-certifications for all office testing and procedures including:

• Echocardiograms
• Nuclear stress tests
• Stress echocardiograms
• Home sleep studies
• Vascular testing

Requirements

• Must have at least 3-5 yrs experience in a medical office setting, preferably in Cardiology
• Must have knowledge of different insurances
• Must have the ability to multitask
• Computer knowledge is a must
• Experience with an EMR system is a plus
• Must be well spoken, friendly, and outgoing
• Must have knowledge of different insurances

Job Type: Full-time

• If you are hired, and assuming your employment is in good standing, you will receive the sign-on bonus. The bonus will be paid to you no later than 30 days following your start date. In the event that you voluntarily terminate your employment or the Company terminates your employment for cause within 6 months of your date of hire, you will be required to repay the full amount of your sign-on bonus.
