The Technical Recruiter is responsible for recruiting best in class talent for Information Technology positions. Duties include developing recruitment strategies with client groups and recruiting sources. Requirements include providing excellent candidate experience; strong organizational skills to track and measure activity and the ability to ensure candidates are moved through process in a timely manner. Responsive follow up to candidates and hiring managers required. The Technical Recruiter must have a thorough understanding of technology, technical roles and technical skills.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Build relationships with Hiring Managers to understand their business and hiring needs.
Collaborates with HR Business Partners to determine workforce planning and hiring forecast for client group.
Uses variety of progressive sourcing techniques to identify top talent both active and passive candidates.
Manages posting process for open requisitions.
Identifies and implements creative recruiting strategies.
Drives regular and ad-hoc recruiting update meetings.
Serves as project manager for client’s recruiting needs-related projects and processes.
Accountability to fill open requisitions within established time to fill guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business.
Three years of experience recruiting for technical roles.
Knowledge of applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office.
Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles and technical skills.
Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Demonstrated experience with web-based systems and recruiting sources, including the internet, social media, warm/cold calling, referrals, events, networking, publications, industry groups/associations, and job fairs.
