Job Title: Training and Benefits Coordinator

Position Summary
The training and benefits coordinator maintains personnel files and ensures accurate time keeping. They meet with personnel regularly and provide a neutral third party for employee communications. They work with department leads to create and maintain Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents and training programs that ensures improvements on the operating processes while maintaining continual growth and development. They work with various 3rdparty partners to ensure CarWil offers competitive benefits and has up to date policies to protect both the company and the employees.
General
Develop, understand, and comply with company policies, procedures and safety regulations. Focus on internal and external customer service through a sense of commitment and immediacy by fulfilling job tasks with a strong focus on quality and timely output. All correspondence must be done in a professional manner.
Grade 1 – Incumbent within this position learns the basics of CarWil payroll management and submission including time input (daily balancing) ensuring accuracy of inputs with the assistance of the shop foreman, employee maintenance, and proper submission protocol. Can successfully onboard an employee, submitting all paperwork to appropriate entities and entering employees into GSS. Makes job postings for open positions and works closely with hiring manager to select qualified candidates to schedule interviews with. Works with various department leads to ensure SOPs are up to date, and training is consistent.
Grade 2 – Incumbent within this position coordinates with outside companies for benefit renewals and employee appreciation events. Conducts exit interviews and maintains an employee turnover analysis. Creates an employee retention program and has measurable metrics to score that program on. Assists with creating performance improvement plans and follows up on those plans to see if metrics are being met. Tracks instances of rework and addresses issues that require more training.
Grade 3 – Incumbent within this position is familiar with CarWil company culture and can identify outliers and problems. Conducts monthly 1 on 1 meetings with existing personnel to ensure needs are met and discuss employee growth plan. Communicates places for company improvement in employee relations, management performance, and standard operating procedures. Helps develop vision and core values throughout the company and builds company culture.
