Responsibilities:
Oversees and administers the benefits program at Casella Construction. Ensures benefits comply with plan documents and federal and state regulations such as ERISA, FMLA, COBRA, etc.
Leads the design, implementation, and administration of the performance evaluation process; connects the process to talent management strategies.
Drives a pay for performance compensation system and ensures equitable pay for employees across the organization. Conducts wage survey analysis, as necessary.
Leads employee development and career pathing initiatives. Identifies current and future learning and development needs through job and career pathing analysis, professional development discussions, annual performance evaluations, and consultation with managers and leadership.
Develops and implements Human Resources Information System solutions and related analytics. Will maintain employee information once implemented.
Significantly contributes to a culture and working environment that is open, empowering, fair, and equitable through Talent Management strategies.
Drafts and amends Human Resources related documents such as the employee handbook, operations guidebook, job descriptions, etc.
Creates reports and metrics designed to provide employee related insight that helps drive business decisions.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local laws/regulations including EEO, FLSA, OFCCP, and ADA.
Qualifications:
A bachelor s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education.
A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible human resources experience in the areas of Benefits, Compensation, Performance Management, Employee Development, and HRIS.
Strong knowledge of Human Resources principles and practices.

Experience developing and implementing an HRIS application a plus.
