Responsibilities:
Coordinates and performs recruitment, hiring and training, of all seasonal line-level, and specialty positions.
Participates in the planning of recruitment activities and advertising schedules and implements in partnership with the Manager of Recruitment.
Attends and represents the department at all regular management/ divisional meetings and others as necessary.
Prepares and submits related reports as requested by the Manager of Recruiting. Keeps abreast of recruitment, employment, and training industry trends and legislation, as well as implements changes and produces communications when possible or applicable.
Monitors seasonal staffing requisitions and adjusts recruitment plans accordingly. Recruits, interviews, and hires Park seasonal staff;reviews background investigation and drug screen results.
Establishes and maintains effective communication and partnerships with all park department managers to ensure successful recruitment, employment, and seasonal organizational partnerships with all park department managers to ensure successful recruitment and training programs.
Updates weekly job postings via email, direct mail and other media (including social and traditional formats) .
Coordinates and conducts job fairs on an as needed basis.
Adheres to and enforces all Cedar Fair and specific Park policies and procedures, including safety, attendance and EEO policies, and demonstrates commitment to customer service in all aspect of employment.
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience in high-volume recruitment of seasonal line-level and specialty positions.
3-5 years related experience Human Resources or a related field.
Bachelor’s degree (4 years College or Tech School), Human Resources, Business or related fields.
Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per company policy, unless prohibited by federal state, or provincial law.
Ability to work nights, weekends and vacation periods to meet business needs.
