The Human Resources Manager provides strategic leadership to ensure alignment of HR initiatives with plant and corporate objectives, building and maintaining effective relationships with the workforce, and engaging the employees and plant management in organization design activities that foster and sustain a high performance work culture. Manages and resolves complex personnel and employment issues and works with other Human Resources team members to develop and implement HR-based solutions to business problems.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related discipline.
5 years experience in an HR management role, and at least 2 years in a union facility.
Experience in a manufacturing and/or heavy industrial environment.
Labor Union experience a must.
Experience supervising others.
