The CPCCo Business Operations team is seeking a self-directed and well-organized Financial Analyst with a strong willingness to mentor others and works well in a team environment. Under direct supervision, performs a variety of assignments requiring the knowledge and ability to select and apply standard financial and accounting techniques, procedures, and criteria in the Finance Department. Performs duties requiring independent thought and judgment. Displays good analytical, organizational, and communication skills. A day in the life of Account & Financial Analyst involves, but is not limited to:

• Reconciliation of monthly General Ledger accounts and responsibility for determining path forward to clear outstanding reconciling items including recommendations to management on how items are to be resolved.
• Prepare, analyze and monitor:
• Customer billings including the aging of the billings.
• Monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Build and maintain working relationships with internal and external customers to recommend and advise on the collect ability of outstanding balances.
• Review, audit, and analyze:
• Process accounts payable invoice requests.
• Accounts payable invoices against the terms and conditions of the prime contract and the subcontract.
• Compliance issues and recommend resolution to internal customers.
• Purchase Card payment, validation, and quarterly reports.
• Time-card compliance including advising management of timekeeping performance indicators at the company level.
• Other miscellaneous expenses (travel, relocation, morale program, safety program, recognition program, education reimbursements, bereavement, etc.)
• Prepare, analyze, reconcile, and submit:
• B&O Tax, Use Tax, and HazMat Taxes.
• Act as a peer reviewer when assigned by management.
• Responsible for compliance of these expenditures with the applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Make recommendations to internal customers on measures that need to be taken to maintain compliance.
• Prepare contract deliverables in accordance with the prime contract, as needed.
• Assist with overtime reporting requirements. Monitor compliance with the prime contract and applicable contract deliverable requirements.
• Participate in initiatives to assess and develop or revise policies, procedures and guidance documents ensure continuing compliance and mitigate risk.
• Assist on special projects upon request providing sound technical strategies and recommendations to management.
• Collaborate and provide insightful interpretive compliance guidance leading to improved accountability and process improvements within the organization including improvements to existing systems/tools. Basic Qualifications
• Intermediate Grade 14: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 2 or more years of relevant experience.
• Career Level Grade 16: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 5 or more years of relevant experience. The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate’s education, training, and/or experience. Desired Qualifications
• Versed in government accounting and regulatory compliance such as FAR, FTR, DEARs, CAS and DOE Directives.
• Knowledge of various systems including but not limited to Asset Suite, PeopleSoft ERP systems, Crystal Reporting, and QuickBooks.
• Ability to communicate ideas in a clear and concise manner, both written and verbally. Compensation & Benefits In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate’s education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates. Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week):
• Intermediate Grade 14: $71,200 – $89,800.
• Career Level Grade 16: $86,138 – $108,513. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
