Job Description – Human Resource Manager

Essential Job Duties:

Recruiting

• Work with department managers to identify resource constraints, create job descriptions and actively recruit appropriate candidates.
• Screen & coordinate interviews with department managers and applicants.
• Conduct reference calls and follow ups as needed
• Manage third party recruiters

On/Offboarding

• Responsible for all on and off boarding of employees including new hire setups with ADP, tracking 30/60/90 day plans with managers and conducting exit interviews.
• Enter/remove employees into ADP as needed
• Perform I9 authorization checks, driving record and employee background screenings as needed

Benefits

• Coordinate the annual Open Enrollment process for both health and dental-including broker/insurance carrier selection, employee census, company communications, individual plan enrollments and quarterly 1094/95 reporting requirements as well as any individual adjustments such as adds/adj/terminations and associated payroll deductions that may result throughout the year.
• Maintain companywide time off system and ensure accuracy at the employee level.
• Continuously look for opportunities to improve employee benefits

Employee Development

• Ensure all annual reviews are completed and documented as well as reviewed with all eligible employees
• Identify areas for cross training and employee growth
• Coordinate employee training and development programs
• Conduct employee trainings

Payroll

• Ensure the process for managing employee timecards is maintained accurately and train supervisors on both the time and attendance system as well as the timeclock itself to record employee punches.
• Perform weekly payroll submission and review all documents for accuracy related to pay, adjustments, hours worked, and time off.

Compliance

• Document & Mitigate all employee related issues including issuing policy violation verbal/written warnings
• Manage company compliance training and documentation
• Manage worker comp claims and associated OSHA logs
• Respond to all unemployment claims

Assists with other duties & functions as required

Requirements

Must be proficient in Microsoft office including outlook calendar, email & Microsoft excel & word.

Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
