General Job Summary:
The Onboarding Specialist supports the HR Department with a strong focus on the high volume onboarding of our clinical staff. The Onboarding Specialist will serve as the liaison between incoming clinical staff and other departments to ensure a seamless employee experience in a fast-paced remote work environment.
Responsibilities:
Creates and sends contracts to new clinical staff along with all other necessary HR & credentialing, and payroll paperwork
Confirms all new hire paperwork is completed in a timely manner by following up with clinicians via email, phone, and Zoom check-ins
Performs all necessary background checks on new hires
Sends out welcome boxes to in-patient clinical staff via USPS shipments
Ensures timely completion of on boarding training and administers final knowledge check
Makes sure Federal I-9 Forms are completed and maintains electronic employee files
Enters new hire data into ADP Workforce Now
Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations
Performs other clerical functions upon request
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
At least one year of human resources or related field experience
Knowledge & Skills:
Strong customer service and time management skills.
Ability to maintain confidential information.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Extensive knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
Ability to operate general office equipment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, ADP WorkforceNow & Adobe Sign
