Position Summary:
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing Human Resources Programs, Benefits Administration and Payroll process.
Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Leads the talent acquisition process, including; recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Establishes and track hiring data and reports on results
· Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
· Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
· Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
· Provides support and guidance management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
· Manages and tracks employee leave of absence process, provides information to employees regarding the Family Medical Leave Act, NYS Paid Family Leave, and Disability benefits.
Qualifications Required:
· A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or Organizational Development, Master’s degree preferred
· 5 years of experience in the HR field.
