Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a HR Business Partner Manager 2 to provide leadership within our Launch Vehicles Business Unit and employee teams in our Chandler, Arizona location.
As a HR Manager you will partner with the HR Director to drive strategic human capital plans that support sector and enterprise goals, providing HR guidance and counsel to leaders and managers regarding succession planning and talent development, reward and recognition, compensation, organization effectiveness, performance management, staffing and employee relations.
Specific duties and responsibilities include the following:
Establish a solid understanding of the business, build and expand relationships with program leadership teams, and create close partnerships across HR centers of excellence (COE’s)
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the organization and develop solutions in partnership with programs
Provide business insight through data analytics, research and benchmarking to inform and recommend solutions to enable business growth
Play a key change leadership role in the company’s transformation by reinforcing a culture of growth and innovation
Leadership Development-focused on comprehensive succession planning and strategic leadership movement. Partner with business leaders to build leadership depth to support the development and succession planning process
Lead a team of HR Business Partners
Serve as the HR Business Partner to a small internal customers base (apx 100 employees and leaders)
The Ideal Candidate will have:
Demonstrated leadership and relationship building skills
Demonstrated the ability to plan, organize, implement and close multiple projects simultaneously on various topics within the HR work streams
Have the capacity to understand people issues impacting the business
Demonstrated integrity in business interactions and honor personal commitments
Possess the proven ability to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally
Have proven ability to influence others
Have excellent attention detail
Initiative to identify and anticipate needs and make recommendations for implementation
Education and Experience Requirements
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and a minimum of 10 years of HR experience, or Master’s degree in HR related field with a minimum of 8 years of HR experience
Demonstrated ability to communicate within various levels of the organization and excellent negotiation skills
Demonstrated success in building or enhancing a collaborative work environment
Salary Range: $100,300.00 – $150,500.00
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay . Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
