Department: Level Eight-Medical
Hours per week: 36, eligible for benefits
Shift: Requires three, 12-hour shifts per week. Shift is nightshift (6:45 PM-7:15 AM). Expectation to work every other weekend and some holidays. Expected to work full-time for at least one year before being considered for part-time hours.
The Clinical Assistant (CA) assists patients and families by supporting personal hygiene and daily living needs. The CA provides comfort, transportation, and vital sign monitoring. In addition, the CA supports and assists nursing personnel and other providers in diagnostic procedures and technical treatments and functions as a member of the healthcare team.
The 8th floor Inpatient Medical Unit, is a dynamic 48-bed general medical unit serving a wide variety of patient populations from birth to early adulthood. We specialize clinically in the areas of digestive health, renal impairment, infectious diseases, behavioral health, endocrine and metabolic disorders, and immune deficiencies to name a few. You will find our team to be a passionate and intelligent interdisciplinary team of nurses, clinical assistants, mental health counselors, inpatient service specialists, and providers; caring for medically complex and acutely ill patients in a fast-paced environment. Salary Information
Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $33,282.46 to $49,923.69
Hourly Salary Range: $16.00 to $24.00
