Director of Sales and Marketing
Cim-Tek Filtration is a leading innovator in solutions that protect the world’s fuel and hydraulic fluids. Our products are sold in farm stores, installed on gas station pumps, and used in many other capacities around the world. We have been family owned and operated since our first product was engineered in 1956. We are a small team who value hard work, collaboration, and integrity.
The Director or Sales and Marketing will guide the overall strategic planning and execution of sales efforts for Cim-Tek Filtration. This person is a collaborative and motivated individual who strives for creative, strategic, and operational excellence.
Essential Functions:
Achieve marketing and sales objectives by recruiting, selecting, training and coaching employees
Lead the Company’s inside and outside sales efforts, deploying best practices in all sales processes
Lead the Company’s marketing efforts; market research, website, generation of marketing collateral, trade shows
Monitor and update pricing, finished goods stocking levels and customer discounts based on market research and forecasts as needed
Work closely with other functional groups within the Company as well as with customers on business development; new and existing products
Qualifications:
Sales and marketing experience in industrial component distribution as well as OEM sales highly desired.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required; MBA helpful but not required.
Strong interpersonal skills (fact based, flexible, connected).
Strong communications skills (written and verbal).
Strong strategic, interpersonal, communication, collaboration, presentation and time-management skills and ability to execute initiatives within the team and company as well as customers.
Excellent organizational skills and analytical skills.
Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Office applications.
