Under the direction of the SVP/Sr. Human Resource Manager, the Human Resource Supervisor performs work in human resources and benefits administration. This position has the authorization and responsibility to handle and provide support for various Human Resource employee programs within the organization. The Supervisor will provide support to the SVP/Sr. Human Resource Manager regarding polices, regulations and procedures.
The Supervisor will address a variety of issues and/or provide general support, maintaining records, files and data bases of personnel actions, evaluations and assisting in ensuring that personnel functions conform to all applicable regulatory requirements and bank standards with minimal supervision. This position will be required to provide excellent communication and support in maintaining the work environment that is consistent with the organization’s strategic direction.
The level of this position is based on years of service, education and/or equivalent experience, knowledge level and skill set.

1. Carry out various human resource programs and procedures for all company employees with minimal direction.
2. Supervisor the HR Staff which includes delegating projects/tasks, ensuring adequate staffing, hiring, discipline, and performance reviews.
3. Assist with various research projects and/or special projects with the expectation of clear communication and status updates as required.
4. Has the authority and responsibility to plan, develop, revise, and implement human resources policies, procedures, and forms in collaboration with the SVP/Sr. Human Resource Manager.
5. Review HR Department tasks and ensure projects and emails/tickets are completed in a timely manner and accurately.
6. Has the authority and responsibility to communicate with employees, departments, supervisors, and managers for the purpose of producing information and assistance in all aspects of employee related functions in accordance with the department procedures.
7. Provide ongoing maintenance and training on the HRIS system to department staff and also companywide. Review and implement updates or improvements to the HRIS system as well as research and trouble-shoot issues.
8. Responsible for the implementation and completion of all performance appraisal processes.
9. Assist with filing all regulatory reports and documents annually which includes but is not limited to Affirmative Action, OSHA Logs, New Hire Reporting, and Unemployment requests/filing.
10. Responsible for ensuring all audit requests (from Internal Audit, FDICIA, External audits ie 401k, etc.) are completed accurately and within specified deadlines.
11. Responsible for ensuring compliance with COBRA guidelines by preparing letters, bills and other paperwork as directed; receives and records COBRA insurance premium payments.
12. Responsible for the maintenance of personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements. Keeps employee records up to date by processing employee status changes in a timely fashion.
13. Support department staff with their workload if necessary which includes completing day-to-day tasks due to absences.
14. Responsible for compiling updates for the employee handbook policies with updated regulations and other pertinent information as needed or required.
15. Assist with the training and development of all the Human Resource staff.
16. Responsible for all HR functions when SVP/SR HR Manager is absent.
17. Coordinate training and counselling staff on issues, rules, policies, and regulations related to human resources in accordance with the organizational objectives and procedures.
18. Stay current on all employment related laws, regulations, and changes pertaining to employment practices, including compensation, benefits, and payroll.
19. Assists or prepares correspondence and forms as requested by the SVP/Sr. Human Resource Manager.
20. Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars as required and/or requested.
21. Ability to prioritize workload.
22. Assist co-workers as needed.
23. Maintain complete confidentiality regarding sensitive employee and proprietary information.
24. This position may require the installation of a multi-function app on employee’s personal mobile device.
25. Adhere to and comply with all applicable, federal, and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to AML, as well as adhere to the Bank’s policies and procedures.
26. Physical presence in the bank is required.
27. Perform other duties as assigned and requested.
