City Motor Group is seeking an experience automotive mechanic well versed in diagnosing the cause of breakdown and troubleshooting in all makes and models.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Properly diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Perform routine oil changes and service
- Perform brake jobs as assigned
- Inspect, replace and or rotate tires on vehicles as needed
- Order parts and supplies as needed
- Perform work specified with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems
- Communicate directly with management and providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $54,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Wanaque, NJ: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Automotive Repair: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver’s License (Preferred)
- ASE Certification (Preferred)
