Under general supervision, coordinates the administration of employee benefits to all City employees.

Essential Job Functions:

• Coordinate the administration of employee benefit programs such as health, dental and group life insurance, retirement plans and other benefits.
• Consults with and advises employees on eligibility, provisions and other matters related to benefits.
• Maintains benefits records and documents.
• Assists in the preparation of employee benefits booklets and other employee benefit communications.
• Acts as liaison to outside benefit vendors.
• Coordinates employee meetings and training on benefit topics.
• Assists with administration of the City’s wellness programs, including the City Health Fair, Health Challenges, Open Enrollment, and any onsite benefit meetings between vendors and employees.
• Organizes and conducts orientation meetings for new employees involving the detailed explanation of benefits and the completion of required paperwork.
• Assists in the management of the City’s ACA regulatory compliance activities
• Serves as FMLA Administrator for the Human Resources Department and assists other department administrators with the FMLA process
• Coordinates service award programs for City employees.
• Makes recommendations to update policies regarding employee benefits.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience:
Requires a High School Diploma or GED equivalent, supplemented by one to two years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid Driver’s License issued by the State of Oklahoma for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.65 – $25.54 per hour
