City of Fulton Hiring for FT Account Clerk Typist at Fulton, NY Full Time

Position Overview

This position is responsible for routine clerical work involving financial record keeping, reviewing and related tasks, including typing. An employee in this class usually works under general supervision on standard routine assignments in accordance with detailed procedures This position is M-F 8 hours a day. This position is provisional, you will need to take a Civil Service test, when it is available, and score in the top 3 to remain in the position.

Qualifications

Below are the qualifications for this position:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures; knowledge of MS Office Software
• Ability to perform office work quickly and efficiently while maintaining accuracy; plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively; communicate effectively; work cooperatively with others; and work under pressure with interruptions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.66 per hour
