STORMWATER ENGINEERING, CITY OF HARTFORD, WISCONSIN
The City of Hartford, WI is seeking a Stormwater Engineer to join our engineering team. This position performs professional civil engineering work related to the City’s MS4 stormwater program, including coordination of the program and budget, and review of City capital improvement projects, residential subdivision developments, commercial / industrial developments for compliance with the stormwater regulations, compliance with stormwater permits, and associated duties. Position reports to City Engineer. The preferred candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited program, a Wisconsin P.E. designation eligible within 1-4 years. Non-Engineering candidates with significant training, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the required duties described will be considered. Salary will range from $65,000-$75,000 DOQ. The City of Hartford offers an outstanding benefit package. QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university.
· One to four years of proven experience as related to the responsibilities of this position.
· Valid Driver’s License
· Ability to perform regular inspections in, on and adjacent to stormwater BMP’s, including those located in rough or uneven terrain with heavy vegetation.
· Non-Engineering candidates with significant training, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the work and duties described will be considered.
WAGE:
$65,000-$75,000 DOQ
