As a dedicated Government Relations Manager, you’ll have a unique opportunity to continue to develop a new division in the complex nature of Federal, State and County government with a focus on regulation, legislation, rules and policy. The ideal candidate is passionate about the democratic process and comfortable adapting their work approach to a dynamic political environment. A successful Government Relations Manager will be a collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Research, identify and build strategies to change legislation, rules and policy across the United States
Communicate objectives to new lawmakers and their staff
Achieve communication objectives set by VP of `Business Development
Report and track outreach activity
Track legislation and related changes through legislative tracking software
Communicate and influence RES’ value and solution offerings to all necessary stakeholders
Manage the complex realm of politics within charter of focus states
Increase RES’ market share and influence measurable revenue
Represent RES with the highest level of integrity
Maintain flexibility and embrace other duties as assigned

Key Requirements:
Critical understanding of election laws and regulations
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Effective and polished presentation skills
Collaborative contribution to department and RES objectives
Ability to travel 50-75%
Experience/Education:
Bachelor’s degree minimum, Master’s preferred
8+ years of experience in the election industry
Experience working with election laws
Proven history of successful legislative work
