Under the direct supervision of the Director of Fiscal Services: prepares regular and variable payroll for certificated and classified employees; checks and keeps a variety of payroll deductions and employee insurance deductions; maintains sick leave and vacation records; issues warrants; prepares quarterly and yearly tax reports for the Federal and State government; performs bank reconciliations and other accounting functions; performs other duties as assigned.
High School graduation or equivalent and three (3) years of responsible financial recordkeeping experience in one of the following areas is required: payroll, accounts payable or accounts receivable. Experience with HRS, BEST in a public school setting is highly desirable.
