We’re looking for someone who has the desire to deliver great customer service to residents regarding their utility billing accounts with the City. This person should be able to easily learn department policies and procedures and have knowledge of modern office practices, procedures and equipment. The hours for this position are typically Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.
As a Customer Service Representative, your duties and responsibilities will include:
Establishing new water, sewer and trash accounts.
Establishing final move-ins and move-outs on existing accounts.
Maintaining the Backflow Program; sending letters, updating accounts and filing test reports.
Assists with answering telephone; provides information, customer relations regarding accounts.
Resolves customer billing concerns.
Maintaining the e-billing through third-party billing provider.
Assisting with winter averaging changes on sewer accounts.
Other duties as assigned.
