Job Description:
POSITION OBJECTIVES
Under the direction of the Administrative Services Director, this position is responsible for planning, organizing and directing of all human resource functions for the City. Performs highly complex managerial and strategic work in the areas of employee/labor relations, recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, administration of organizational policies and procedures, administration of collective bargaining agreements, employee assistance, employee benefits, training and organizational development and disciplinary processes.
Education and Experience
Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations
o International Public Management Association (IPMA-HR )certification preferred
o Public Human Resources (PHR) or Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)certification preferred
o Florida Public Human Resources Association (FPC) certification preferred
o Florida Public Employer Labor Relations (FPELRA) certification preferred
o Must hold a valid Florida Driver’s License.

The City operates as a Council-Manager government, with a City Council of four members, a Mayor, and a professional City Manager. This position is part of the City’s Emergency Management Team and, as such, shall be expected to perform all duties that are assigned during an emergency management operation.
Compensation Details:
This is a salary exempt position
Regular working hours Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
$59,433.00- $75,000.00
