Front Desk – Administrative Assistant
This position is responsible for serving as the first point of contact to visitors entering City Hall and performs office management and delegated secretarial and administrative tasks. Work requires the exercise of initiative, independent judgment, and advanced secretarial skills to a wide range of work situations often involving sensitive and confidential information. Work involves significant contact with other department heads, the general public, outside agencies, and members of departments and commissions.
This position works Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with the ability to cover for the Planning & Zoning Commission the second Wednesday of each month starting at 6:30 pm.
Qualifications for this position includes professional office experience in a customer service role including, but not limited to email, phone, and in-person communication.
The salary range for this position is $38,760 to $48,800 with full health insurance (including HSA contributions), paid time off, and retirement with Ohio Public Employees Retirement.
