SUMMARY OF DUTIES: This class is accountable for performing paraprofessional duties relating to human resource management; applies independent judgment in the execution and completion of complex clerical and technical duties involving the preparation, processing, review and coordination of personnel actions, processes and examinations; performs ongoing data entry, table maintenance and report production work pertaining to employee hiring, applicant tracking and promotional processes; does related work as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Associates Degree in business, secretarial science or a related field and three (3) years of work experience in a personnel, human resources or benefits office one which was in the area of recruitment, examination, classification, labor relations or employee benefits or Graduation from an accredited high school and five (5) years of experience in a personnel, human resources or benefits office, at least one (1) of which was in the area of recruitment, examination, classification, labor relations or employee benefits.
College training may be substituted for the general experience on the basis of fifteen (15) semester hours equaling one-half (1/2) year of experience to a maximum of one (1) year.
SCOPE OF EXAMINATION: There will be a computer based examination at a date to be determined, which will test for the following Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
