The Service Line Manager of Neuroscience Institute will oversee the business and workflow operations of the Neuroscience service line and inclusive of all inpatient and outpatient services and the staff members. The Service Line Manager of Neuroscience Program will collaborate with all financial services including contracting, revenue cycle and authorization or denial management. Provides supply chain and budget oversight and productivity targets.
The Service Line Manager of Neuroscience Department will identify and initiate quality improvement and insure internal and external regulatory compliance within service line. The Service Line Manager of Neuroscience Institute will support operations in a manner consistent with overall hospital strategies, policies and procedures and is responsible for the most effective use of materials, personnel, and resources to produce quality results and positive outcomes in patient care. Collaborates with physicians, clinical leadership, and other internal and external departmental personnel in planning and implementing operational changes.
Under general direction of the Director of the Service Line, the Operations Manager of Neuroscience Institute will develop plans and initiate actions that further the access to care and create business opportunity, including improving the revenue/cost equation in order to develop sustainability of service line programs.
The Service Line Manager of Neuroscience Institute will lead planning, development, and implementation of service line improvement and expansion (i.e. Spine Center). The ideal candidate should have Bachelor’s degree required with Master’s degree in business, public or healthcare administration preferred and five years of administrative and/or operational support experience preferably in an outpatient health care setting.
