Human Resource Manager
Summary:
Support and assist Director of Human Resources to accomplish the Human Resources Department’s strategic objectives by planning, organizing, and supervising all assigned functions required to operate and maintain department activities and services.
Responsibilities:
Ensure “Welcome Home” atmosphere by prompt, courteous and professional service to ALL internal and external guests.
Proactively prevent casino liability and litigation utilizing knowledge of employment practices and the law.
Maintain and enhance the organizations Human Resources planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resource policies, programs and practices.
Work to resolve inappropriate behavior/harassment claims by the being the initial contact.
Perform general research and analysis to identify best practices and industry trends.
Assist in development and implementation of recruiting and retention programs that fit the company culture.
Act in place of or assist the Director of Human Resources as requested/delegated.
Maintain and update casino team member handbook, policies and procedures.
Assist department managers in forecasting short and long-term operational headcount requirements; monitors staffing needs are within budgetary requirements.
Monitor unemployment claims and attend hearings as needed.
Assist in maintaining HRIS records and compiles reports from database.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
Microsoft Office Suite, and HRIS software.
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, communication, analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills are required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $46,255.00 – $75,192.00 per year
