The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Executive Director of Human Resources; The Human Resources Employment Officer will liaison with hiring managers while providing guidance to ensure the entire talent acquisition process adheres to established guidelines and employment laws. This position handles a high volume of related recruitment activities, staffing transactions, and candidate management while ensuring deadlines are met Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: coordinating the hiring process from the point of onboarding of the new employee; The Officer will assist with competitive total rewards strategies designed to attract, retain and support new and existing talent. This role will process the school’s worker’s Compensation claims and reports and coordinate Family Medical Leave and related leaves processes including Short Term Disability, ADA Accommodations, Parental Leave, and related leaves. This role will assist HR processes and initiate transactions employee payroll-related transactions/changes in accordance with University policies while also supporting other employment functions in the school.
